A faulty catalyst can cause a smell of eggs.

Does it have airconditioning? Have the filters been changed recently? If not get a full aircon service and regas.

Oh and a warm welcome to TorqueCars nice to have you with us.

depends - they werent necessary back them but they were fitted to some cars. my prelude didnt and that was 1990

welcome to the site.

another question do you use cheap fuel - supermarket etc as this can cause smells as well aparantly

If there is a filter for the heater I would get this changed. Smells are generally caused by bacteria.

Also try spraying an odour neutraliser in the heater intake (probably just under the wipers) and see if this helps. (Do it with the heater running and on a low setting).
