diesel engines are very simple to make more power;

at full output you add fuel till engine smokes heavy black, then add more air till engine smoke goes away, then add more fuel again, add air, add fuel, till engine reaches its integrity level.

all very simple, then buy new engine, but dont go as far with new engine.

hey i never said it would be low cost!

Did that with the 306 D turbo. Comes with a 1.9 mechanical injected diesel engine, and they're very easy to tune. No idea how much power mine made, but it was very quick.
