side shafts breaking after launch

here in south africa this is a common problem on our high powered cars. anybody have a solution to this? i would also like to know if it is common in other countries
 
never really thought about cryogenic treatment for sideshafts. usually we do this on engine parts which experience lots of friction. Thanks for the info and advise I WILL use it once i modify my car

Simple solution - Get new shafts made to take the expected power. Mine cost me around 150gbp each, but they are quite short (400-450mm). If you want the company's details, let me know.
 
I have heard that hardning them is a good way but not oil quenching but arsenic quenching, this gives a deeper level of hardness, Where are they actually shearing, ??
