Do you think that a cars engine size should appear on the boot/trunk lid?

I note that Audi are using 25-50 to denote power but not mentioning either engine size of fuel type.

Is this because engines are getting smaller but retaining the same power? Is it to deter car thieves?

Does the badge on a car matter that much to you?

One used to be able to know what engine capacity was powering most cars in the past but now makes like BMW and MB have changed that now so hard to know if there is a 4,6 or 8 under the bonnet.
