Short Throw Shifters

Hi All,
Does anyone know of a short throw shifter kit to suit a 1972 Volvo 142S ?
Yes I know its an older car but I love it .

Have you had a look at the fitting? On some older cars it is quite easy to move the knuckle up a bit and shorten the throw.

You might need a friendly mechanic with a welding kit who can chop and change this for you but it's much nicer if you can have a one piece.

If the gear change is a bit notchy then a short throw will be even worse. I do have my doubts that the car will be pleasant to drive after you fit one. They put long gearsticks on these for a reason.

Sent this earlier, but here is a quick answer; try Avalanche Performance or CravingBoost. Both of them are in Canada. They each offer a short throw shifter, both good for the price, but different in design.
