SEMA - How do I get a ticket?

I would love to visit SEMA in Las Vegas but, as I understand it, it is for trade members only.

Can anyone confirm this? If so, what proof do the organisers require in order to issue a ticket?

You do have a car business though so perhaps you'd get in through that if you get some letterheads and business cards printed up.

Yeah, I have thought of that. On reading about the show, it appears that there is a lot going on outside that is free (as far as I can tell) so, even if getting into the main hall proves too difficult, a visit would still be worthwhile. This is about the 2014 show but I assume it hasn't changed:

Thanks Rod, I will keep Mark in mind. No plans for this year as we are already going to Bonneville, but next year is a possibility.

Thanks for the thought, Rad, but there is no point at the moment as it won't be at least until 2017 and probably later. A lot can happen in the meantime. I would also require two
