Saab 9-3 Aero tuning

Hi guys,

I have just bought a 2004 Saab 9-3 Aero. I think its 210bhp as standard. I have heard you can do a basic performance tune for £3-400 but have never done this before. I just want a bit more power, nothing to pricey.

Can anyone help please?

hey and welcome

most basic thing you can do is give it a remap.would say your looking around an extra 30 to 40 bhp for around your £3-400

Great thanks. Any idea where I would get that done in West Sussex? Also, does it affect fuel consumption very much? Its 0-60 is 7.4 standard, any idea what that tune up would do to that number?

Try Hirsch or MapTun for the remap, in answer to your does it effect fuel consumption the answer is; how heavy is your right foot?
On the whole the answer would be NO! But with increased performance comes the need to explore the new found performance - therefore increased fuel consumption! make sense?
