S40 Turbo ????

Just wondered if is possible to add a turbo to my s40 ?
If so does anyone know where to get the parts ect ........

Your best bet would be an engine swap to the 1.9 Turbo or better ttill the T5's 2.5 Turbo engine.

Adding a turbo (assuming you want a big power hike) would mean lowering the compression of the engine to cope with it.

Yeah I would love to upgrade the engine but my engine has only 33k on it and it runs fab
its a 1.8 and the only mods I have are an induction kit and a straight through exhaust , its pretty pokey but just wondered if a turbo was easy to add on . I am also looking at an ECU
Cant believe that I love Volvo's man LOL

They have come such a long way. (The still don't really do curves, unlike the original Saint Volvo!)
