What are the running costs like on your supercar? A thread for our Lambo, Aston Martin, Pagani and Maserati owners.

Particularly interested in hearing about service costs, service intervals, tyre life and fuel consumption .

Do you have any horror stories? Where do you go for this specialised work to be done?

supercars are expensive at everything, fuel, service costs, tyres wont last long

but thats the joys of it, if i had the money to buy a supercar, none of that would matter to me

tyre life dependand on how you drive, mine last about 4k lol....i have 235s front and 285s rear,i get about 11mpg how i drive, major service with cambelt change cost around 1.2k,use specialists like mcgraths or grays, there are a few about though...its all worth it

Fuel and maintenance are all pricey, but worth every cent. I'm not overly aggressive, so tire wear has been moderate. I also keep it under 3K miles per year, so wind up servicing it annually.

I'm probably one of the rare in that I maintain my own; even a simple oil/air service takes a full day due to the vehicle aerodynamics and the engineering challenges of fitting that big, beautiful 6.0 liter V12 in such a tight space.

Hi and a warm welcome to TorqueCars phuels. Looks like you've got a really nice car there. Whats the cars mileage like at the moment then?

She's got a hair over 83K.

I bought her used about a year ago after having her checked over by an AM tech. She has a few minor glitches: some cosmetic work needed in the interior, a bad left rear torque sensor for the ABS and traction control, and bad carbon cannisters. Other than that, she runs great and turns heads.

Sounds like you've got a peach there. You'll have to post us up some photos when you get to 10 posts. We'd all love to see it.

Is it bad on fuel usage or does it depend a lot on how you drive it?

When i had the firebird 454ci which is 7.5lt used to get 14-18 mpg depending how i drove it. but hey with 675HP at the wheels that was not very often so i ended up doing about 2.5mpg but then i did go up against gto's ect service cost me about £45.00 used to go through brakes more than anything else but they are only £6.45 fronts and £9.00 for rears most thing are cheap for yanks

8x plugs
45 ft HT leads as you make your own up
air & oil filters
dizzie cap
rotor arm
kendal oil
