Can you remember your current number plate?

How many number plates can you remember from previous cars?

I can remember my first few cars, it goes a bit hazy in the middle and then I remember the last 3 cars.:confused:
 
I know the number of my parent's first vehicle (a bike/sidecar combo) - OKK 637. My first car (105E) was BLT 746B

The Elan's nickname is Easy, due to the first 3 letters of the plate - ESE. It's racing name is Mia Ling.

Ford Fiesta - L659 OTW
Toyota MR2 - HUI 7900
Ford Escort - F294 TLE or F274 TLE (I think I have discalcula!)
Ford Fiesta - H460 BML
Land Rover Discovery - TIL 7122

Yep - I've remembered all but one. To be fair my Escort was only with me for five months. Not bad for £90 with some T'n'T on it!

I got pulled over driving my brother's car and the nice police man wanted to check I had insurance by the side of the road - I couldn't remember the number plate properly, so told him what I thought it was.

When asked if I had a blue Ford Escort I told him yes. Then he told me the car with the registration I had recited had been scrapped three years ago!

After designating a police station to visit with my details (Seven Day Wonder) and taking my details in to that station the very next day I thought the problem had been overcome, until, three months later I got a court summons for failing to provide!

I went back to the police station and banged on the desk and was shown the book where the insurance details are kept showing that I hadn't been in on the date I said I had, and after going around in circles for a bit I finally pointed out that the book was the wrong month.

The book for the right month was checked, and low and behold there were my details!

A letter of apology from the constabulary later the problem was finally resolved.

I usually try and remember the number plates for my cars but sometimes I get the numbers wrong.

Maybe I should buy a new car - with the new system it might be easier to remember a registration if there's only two numbers and they relate to the six month window in which the car was registered!

,,,or at least buy a modern registration number, that's going to be slightly cheaper than a new car!

i can remember most of mine, if ye people can also, you should be good at remembering mobile phone no.
its to do with using the same no. loads of times, its installed in your brain and wont forget the no. that easily
 
the 2 i remember mainly are my first car B53ODH
and my third car C859FOX mainly cause i ran into the chap i sold it to a while back and him telling me he wrote it off and him saying after he scrapped it he did a valuation on the plate and it was worth £2,000
