Hi Guys,
New here. Had the Impreza few months, and now getting round to doing the bits i would like to.......What i thought would be a relatively simple task of swapping the standard spoiler for an STI style has proved far more tricky....luckily i have not bought anything yet, but read a lot of different answers to the question. Some say 4 bolts are enough, others say more need to be drilled, as well as tape, sealant, etc. My question is.....what would you do? It is not an issue to find a spoiler to fit the existing mounts, but how tricky is from there? Is a new torsion bar for the boot required, what fixings are needed. Also any idea where i could get a spoiler sprayed if i am unable to find one ready painted in the Bristol area? Or anywhere who would fit the spoiler? What body shops around would do this? Would pay subaru to do it if they even sold the things!!!!
