It's that time of year again. Leaves are turning brown and falling! Bearer of slippery leaf covered roads.

Check your tyre pressures, anti freeze and oil levels and it's a good opportunity to get some was in the car.

my car goes off the road over winter i just take the battery out and start it once or twice a month with a short drive.

my van has just had an oil change and anti freeze top up

winter service already done, just gotta invest in the winter tyres this month then fit next month

Beast is going in on Friday to get the valve thing for the AC replaced as it is sticking. This makes defrosting a nightmare as the AC goes cold only when it feels like it, defrost is so much quicker with an icy blast. Oil changed earlier in the year, but will get the transmission fluid replaced and some water wetter added to the coolant. Filters done in July so I am pretty much good to go. I do however have an emergency rucksack in the boot with biscuits, chocolates, mineral waters, thermal emergency blanket, first aid kit, battery powered small radio and a wind up LED torch. I won't put the snow shovel in until December.
