Proton Gen-2 CPS

hello...
i just want know if anybody from any part of UK or from the other country
driving the proton gen-2 cps and hoping for some advise for mods for this type of engine...and some explanation how Cam Profile Swiching works...

hey and welcoem to the site mate.

cam profile switching is normally done ether of 2 ways.
the VVT adjusts the cam by adjusting the timing
2 an oil switch such as honda vtec which engages another lobe on the cam

if Toyotas VVT system

which i think now runs more like honda vtec as in an oil switch activates another lobe on the cam for greater lift

a proper vtec. not a chance without alot of work.
the lower powered ones might have a chance against

by the way, which of this setup better for my 1.6cc.currently im using 17" rims with 205/40... header with 4-2-1 or 4-1? thanx

are you looking for more mid range or more higher ?
