Not too familiar with Smart cars... What kind of numbers are behind that powerplant?

It's not the original engine, the Smart started life with a 600 3 cylinder turbo engine generating a dizzy 60 ish hp, then It got a 700cc Brabus unit taking power up to about 85 hp ( I think) then Jim dropped the 1.8 Toyota MR2 engine you see here. The engine is currently N/A but he does have a turbo manifold just in case! I'm not sure on power (I think he said about 200hp) but there's enough oomph to lift the front wheels off the start line & there is very little weight to the car! :amuse:
