picks of my engine bay

Well,I made it to the RetroRides Gathering at Shelsley walsh, in a very unfinished car, but the crowds were all over it all weekend :)

Are these Aston Martin brakes?
I know someone in the past has mentioned them I'm just not sure if it's you Colin.

Well, unfortunately I've had to move to 19" wheels to clear the new brakes which means I can't use my preferred tyre choice as they don't do 19" tyres :(

Car is getting mechanically close to finished, but still a lot to do,
Rear diffuser all done and ducting out hot air nicely.

Next part that needs sorting is the dash, so start with a cheap £20 ebay cluster.

Lots of scratching of head and wiring, and it all works, I have speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge, water temp, main beam and indicator lights.

Now, it's time to move back to the front engine, and making a new intake manifold again :)
So start off with a few bends.

The first of many, many test fits.

Going to use a Fiat 20Valve throttle body this time, (Bigger than a Volvo one and has a built in Idle Control Valve, so less pipe work)

Another test fit.

Next, the base plate for the plenum.

Then, it's time to start sticking.

Another test.

We need some vac lines :)

More testing, but nearly all done, so it should be fitted in the next few days.

Very nice Colin, but, I worry that you are exposed to fumes from the rear engine, are you going to put up some sort of barrier between you and the rear engine?
