Why not all 4?

Fantastic read here Claymore. You should be very proud of the work your putting into this. Looks like your going for some big power figures?

She's just about all back together now :)

If you don't need the scoop (as you are debating it I assume that the engine doesn't need it), then leave it off. IMO, a scoop would be very difficult to get right on this car. KISS!

Are you using a controller for the nitrous?

The car now has 12 months MOT again, but one thing that was highlighted on the run to the MOT station, was that the front middle of the bonnet lifts and bends even at modest speed, so the scoop will go back on as extra reinforcement for the bonnet.

New Strut-brace made with a bracket for the charge cooler and nitrous solinoids:

All charge cooler pipework now plumbed in and working:

The car now has a full mot again, and one of the first things that became apparent on the open road, is that the bonnet trys to fold itself in two, so I'll reinforce the front during the week.

Hi, seen this on other sites and think 'Well done' to you.
If you feel like making some more bonnets, I'd be interested in one. Or the mould if you wish to pass it on for a fee.;)

Sorry mate, I think the Mould is winging its way across the pond.

Wellllll, depending where you go, it could be, Shuviteer, Shy Tot, Colley Wobbles,Mambo, Stevem, Zoidberg.
I think you know me through the last two.;)

Not any more, sold it a few weeks back.Within 5 days of buying it I liked it so much I went and bought an ex plod 850 T5 estate. Passed it's mot, after failing on a wiper blade and side light bulb, been stood some time, with a handful of advisories mainly to do with brakes. So I'm riding round in that, but do distance travelling in a Golf diesel I bought with 13mth MoT and 4.5 mth tax for 350 quid ! Bargain.
So I'm looking for things to lighten it a bit as I will eventually be adding some extra weight...............if my thinking/idea is correct.

Nice work with that bonnet. I done something like that to my old 21 Turbo. These days i like the sleeper mode. I've got an 850 t5 running 280bhp. Also a S70R running 310bhp and a Audi S4 running 380bhp.

Time for some updates,
I'll start with the bonnet ducting.
Cold air duct:

First cut a big hole in the bonnet

then fiberglass in a back piece
20120417_160703.jpg

then glass on a top piece
20120417_165432.jpg

and one cold air duct to the air filter

Now to get rid of that nasty hot air

Next, I need something to hold me in a bit better than the standard Volvo seats, so enter a pair of scooby seats and some harnesses.

And to continue the yellow theme:

Looking very good claymore, are those named stickers your sponsors now by any chance or just advertising? ;)

Well seeing as rain stops play on the exteriour, I thought I'd cross another job off the to-do list.

First take one harness bar:

Stick these on:

What on earth is going on here?

And there you go, one helmet mount:
