Pick up nails and screws

I've made a point of looking out for nails and screws in the road and picking these up. I think if more people did this we'd get less punctures.

(Unless the tyre shops start dropping more nails around the place.)

I used to work in a place that was next to a timber yard/pallet merchants, used to cost me a fortune in tyres

I picked a screw up the other week. Shame my tyre got to it first though.

waynne, i do the same if i/m walking next to the road and spot something, same with broken glass.
in vietnam the motorbike tyre puncture repair shops are deliberately scattering names on the road and it obviously works a treat. At least one shop is prosecuted a week for this practise.

Names all over the road eh? That must be nasty. You'd need to buy "re-Freds" then instead of new tyres.
