Peugeot 405...my first car

finally i got my driving license and my dad gave me his old car Peugeot 405 GLX 1990, it's in a pretty good condition it has done 124000 Kms.....I want to improve the car's performance but i dont know where to start and what to do....so if any body can help me with that or even post a link to tunning for beginners or something I'd be thankful.

the problem your going to have is youve just got your license and insurers are going to hate you so the slightest thing you do is going to hurt you hard

hello and thank you guys for answering i really need all the help i can get....the engine is 4-cylinder, 1600 cc....yesterday i changed the belts, idler pulley,water pump and i cleaned the carburetor ....i think the engine is now fixed just a little adjustment is the suspension and the car will be ready for tuning.
