Petrol prices still at 109.9p

Down here the petrol prices are still at 109.9pence per litre!

The cost of fuel has recently gone down a bit and there is as much as a 5p per litre difference if you have a discounting supermarket in your town.

Ours has just gone down to 103.9 (petrol) 105.9 (diesel)

seems that petrol prices are forecast to stay around these levels for at least the first quarter of next year as oil will likely be fluctuating between USD70-80/barrel. Even when the price was USD100+/barrel for oil the petrol prices were not far above the 110p mark = easy to see who is making the money at the moment.

We also get a VAT increase from 15% to 17.5% in January!
