Peel P50

So I just watched the Top Gear show where they have the Peel P-50. I would like to have this car just to have some fun with it. I would take it to the shows and cruises. So what do you think about these cars?

That was the episode where Jeremy drove one to work, and stayed in it all day long. Now he's a pretty big bloke and it seemed to work for him.

Personally I wouldn't drive one, but I suppose you could fit some 5 inch rims to it, a small body kit and then put half an amp in the boot.

I wouldn't use it for daly uses but I would use it just for fun, if I could get into it. I don't know how tall Jeremy is but I am just over 190 cm so it may be a bit tough

I'm over 195cm and wouldn't fancy one of those things even if I was 165cm

Jeremy Clarkson is no midget and even he managed to fit inside one of those!!! I'm sure you can do it Hansi!! I've gotta admit that one of those cars would look good in your garage.....tucked inside the top draw! Lol!

Just read that the P50 has 4.5 bhp! Beast!

Something like that, yeah. Imagine that, single cylinder 2 stroke diesel. That'll bring noise, vibration and general harshness to new heights of distinction.

Perhaps Malc could offer some assistance here. Probably have to fit an outboard flywheel.

They're a bit old for them now. Less than six years and elder one will be taking to the road!!!!! 'kin' hell - that's worrying.
