Passat takes to Brands Hatch :)

Most fun i've had in ages....

Looks like a fun day. What speeds did you get out of it at brands then?

Was hitting 110mph by the brake boards on the pit straight. Could have got more had I had a faster exit speed from the last corner, but its running stock shocks/springs.

I've got KW Variant 1 coilovers arriving on Friday - so i'll be going back to test em out

£139 for the track time.

Pit lane opened at 17:30 and closed at 20:00hrs. In and out as much as you like for 2.5hrs. All the pit garages where open for use also (first nab first serve basis).

Paid £69 for track day insurance - although its not legally required.

£10 for helmet hire (compulsary you wear one)

Thats pretty cheap ain't it really. And it's good that you can get in as many laps as you want in the time limit. As apposed to say 10 per session.
