im planning to change my vectras cassette tape player with cd player..do you guys have any idea on how does this affect my cars electronic system? cause somebody told me that if i do change it, my cars digital clock and thermometer will not function...i dont know how true it is...

You'd have to really screw up the wiring to affect anything else in the car. Getting a car audio installer to fit the radio means you will have a professional install with no hassles - if something else goes wrong you can take it back and ask them to sort it out.

Fitting a radio is a pretty easy job - getting the old one out is the biggest challenge with most radios having a hidden locking mechanism that you need a specific 'key' to release.
