Oh NO. Thinking about getting a hybrid - HELP ME!

Oh No shock horror. I caught myself checking out the stats for a Hybrid the other day! What is the world coming to.

The Audi A3 etron, seems quite quick & nippy and returns 100's of MPG and has a 30 mile electric range. Is this the future I wonder?

The cost and fear of new technology put me off.

I say go for it. Technology is coming on and if it is under warranty you have no worries.

Tbh given I can't afford a 5.0 v8 supercharged car, what I have under the bonnet is immaterial as long as it has good torque which hybrids do from the electric side. Hybrids appeal cos no need to plug in so no range anxiety.

Plus you can have fun setting it to all electric and sneaking up in old ladies at crossings.

Hybrids are the way of the future. Your alternative is going to be driving a small highly turbo and/or supercharged petrol engine. The day of the stinky old diesel is going and it's unfortunate but they're strangled to death with emission regulations.

It is the future. We have to embrace hybrid and electric cars as the fuel will run out eventually.
