No More Max Power...

I won't miss it, but there's no doubt it's influenced a whole generation of car nuts, may be it's end will mark a change in the the current UK modding scene.

use to read it well i say read more look at the pics lol
years ago when it was more funnyer and sexyer time when they got away with more

but now them type of mags have had it i think with every one on forums i think it kills the mags really

I never bought it. Even after the rebrand I found it hard to take the journalism and projects seriously. A good car mag needs to be one that gets covered in oil and grease.

Just as it looked like Rich Beach was bringing it back from the breach, in stepped Mark Guest to replace him as editor, and it went juvenile again. Whereas Rich had been looking to feature something a little bit different, he was starting to include some pretty cool features (a Skyline that looked like a Focus, a tasty 65 Mustang and even an interview with Chip Foose being some highlights), Mark bought back all the chavvy Corsas and Fiestas which really went out of fashion after 2003.

It's a shame as I remember the glory days of the late 90's when the cars were absolutely amazing and groundbreaking, and provided me and my mates with hours of pub conversation.

so they have cut it because its not selling anymore - last time i bought this was about 5 years ago and seemed that it was the same as the copy i had bought 3 years before that. nothing had changed, as said above that yattered on about bodykist and that was it. nothing of interest, carwise, imo.

Agree with blacklineninja, when it was first out it was very interesting, it seemed that everything was new. its had its day (probably some years ago).

I used to read the mag back in the late nineties early noughties when i was 14/15 when it was actually about cars, then it turned into a soft jazz mag with a couple of car features now and again but i kept buying it until it eventually turned into chav rag, the project cars were just ridiculous the worst was the mk4 astra coupe they painted yellow and orange two tone

i also agree with dpsubaru and yugguy when it was new it was fresh and there were some awesome cars being featured a couple that spring to mind are Dubsports Twin VR6 Engined Golf Rallye and a monster mkII cossie'd escort with tiger stripes (the latter actually made me buy it in the first place).
