Hi All:
I'm new to this forum. Looking for power up-grades for my 2001 subbie
Outback H2.5. This car is new to me. My last car ( Audi A4 stick AWD )
got hit while parked and totaled. so I got this subaru but it needs some
power up-grades.

What sort of use do you put the car to? How much are you looking to spend on it? I'd say get the head of and get this polished, ported and gas flowed then do a 3 angle valve job and fit a decent exhaust. This should give a good power gain throghout the power band.

I use the car as a daily driver. I would like to lift the car up a little and
put a taller tire on it for mild off road use.
I think the head gaskets are starting to seep anti-freeze. So the head
work you suggested will probably get done soon. I have an appointment
at the exhaust shop next week. As for money I don't have alot to spend.
