Newbie : Berlingo Turbo / Peugeot partner Turbo (1.6 Mini R56 N18 Prince Engine swap)

Newbie with a dream

I believe from research that the Citreon Berlingo 1.6 petrol uses a similar if not the same engine as the Mini cooper 1.6 (Non turbo) R56, I would like to find out if its possible to stick the n18 turbo engine into the berlingo!

Hopefully you can help me (or shoot me down with reality) along the way

Also have hands on experience tinkering with cars (and cosmetic mods) so maybe can help some of you guys along the way too

Waynne the admin here and I would like to personally extend a sincere welcome to TorqueCars. I apologise for the delay in responding; I've had a really busy period recently, but I believe I've caught up now.

What's your budget and what are you aiming for? It is possible they are the prince engine IIRC. You'll need to sort out the ECU/mapping and gearbox would also need a swap.

I'm certain you'll fit right in, and I'm looking forward to talking cars with you.

I enjoy the idea of this project, and I'm a big fan of automotive variety in whatever form it takes from cars to project ideas.
