I have a Laguna Coupe 2.0 dci 150 hp. It is far quicker than what it's horsepower would suggest, I owned an Alfa 159 before this with 1.9 jtd and 150 hp also. Diesel was the only option I had, I found this car on a bargain.
It's my dream car, I want more power. I found a guy to put a stage 2 remap (205hp). This turbo is on the same car with 180 hp factory tune, so I think that it can be done.
My question is, does the computer recognize the turbo that is on the car?Will it put the car on safe mode or can I put a turbo from an Alfa Romeo 2.4 jtd 210hp with the stage 2 remap, or it has to be the same turbo for that tune?? I can also find a 3.0 dci 235hp turbo, but I am afraid that with these bigger turbo's, there will be a lot of turbo lag, after all its just a 2.0 engine. Suggestion?
