Hello the forum...I,ve just got my hands on a 2006 E46 M sport 320cd for next to nothing..prop. broke it,s centre bearing & caused a bit of damage..I,m just repairing the main battery cable as it blew the charge...I imagine there may be more faults I will come across so will need your help...I was a BMW tech many many years ago & love my BM,s.

good luck i loved my 318i but couldn't cue its ills changed timing chain engine was only 94k but think she had bad history checked all timing and reset everything i could but it think if i rebuilt the vanos that may have helped as it was the only thing i didnt try but lost interest in the end which was a shame as overall the car was very clean... should have spent the few extra quid and got a straight 6.....
