New GT3 R

What do you think of the new GT3 R. The 911 for the track with a 3.8 ltr 480bhp motor, traction control, anti-lock brakes and even an automatic throttle blip function to help smooth-out downshifts. If you've got 279,000 euro's plus taxes you can be flying around the circuits of Europe in one of these but not this year as Porsche have already sold there build quota for 2010! By the way it's not road legal either, track toy only:sad2: Did anyone see it at the Autosports show recently? Was it as gorgeous as it looks in the pics?

I saw it in the flesh and it did look stunning. I guess that Porsche want the Nurburgring record back!

I thought the GTR got round in a quicker time than a 911! This is what the new GT3 R is there to address.

Nissan will then respond with a NISMO GTR and on the battle goes!

GTR got round quicker than the road going 911 but i thought there was already a homebrewd 911 that held the time.
