Isn't to everyones taste but I think it's brill :)

It's a 1994 Peugeot 205 Mardi Gras 1.8 Turbo Diesel, yes it is the turbo and not the weedy non turbo....
What else is there to tell I hear your say....
Well...
It's metallic green and It has:
Electric windows, power steering, romote central locking, and thats about it.... Ooooo it does have a starter button!?!?!

That rubber thing is infact the very button, and you can only start that car by using that button, turning the key to start it does nothing!

Sweet.. I had one of them years ago. Was pretty nippy but it floppy as jelly in the twisties.
Very flimsy as well.

Looks all good though buddy.

It is rather good, I quite like it. It is a bit floppy yes but it rides well and is supprisingly quiet when I drove home from exeter, 180 miles there abouts...
Also to not the steering is excellent quick, precise and had loads of feed back.

And the fuel economy is very good, I got home on about 10 litres of diesel and I wasn't really driving economically,

It will serve as the daily hack while my 306 is off the road, after that who knows, I plan on keeping it though...

Also TN, I parted with £950, was a bit on the steep side I still think but it's a clean well looked after motor and on it's last MOT (the same garage it has been going to for ages) it had no advisorys.
They originally wanted £1300!!!

Very nice! remarkably clean inside for the age, the owner clearly took the time to look after it properly.

Thanks for all the positive comment guys,

I haven't found any rust thus far, infact it has less rust that my 306!, mind you it's done less miles...
I'll get some day light photos up later

I've just won a bid on ebay for some nice leather interior from a 309 goodwood, will be collecting them in a couple of days or so and getting it fitted, I thought about putting all the GTI exterior stuff on it also, but need to research a bit more on the subject first,

is 205GOD still on here these days?

Nope not at all.... put a leather interior in it already, just need to upload the photos of it.

Also I'm a little gutted with buying this car now, there nothing wrong with it and I still like it alot.... I'll tell all a bit later.... when I get some pictures....

Interior picture :) Sorry I only have one at the moment, the camera battery is flat so a quick snapshot on the phone is all i have....

Also a picture of it in the day time....

More to come but for now I'm going to try and get the 306 finished sometime this century :S

Good Luck!! :p

Tell me about it!, I travelled to Exeter to get it, about 175 miles away from me! It was worth it though. Like I said, there is more to come but not right now as I have other comitments at the moment, like getting the 306 back on the road !

Did an mpg check the other day, I got 409 miles out of 37 litres, equates to 50 mpg! I and wasn't driving it economically.

Awesome! But I do need to tweak it a bit now as I'm getting bored of the speed of it!

Ha! Another tuning project!

Day shot's of the car look great Jarrus. I wish Peugeot would find their way back to make making great little cars like these again.

So do I mate,

I love my 306, I love my 205, I love the 106, I love the 405, and I even love the 406. But there newer offering are just too....average, kind of like VW's offerings (expect people like VW's) I just wish they would get there act together and make some proper motors again.

The reason why people bought peugeot's was because they were ordinary motors that you could drive every day that were reliable, good to look and were practicle but they just have that "magic" I can't quite explain, you need to drive them to understand it. They just make your ordinary drive home more enteraining, they handle really well, steering is weighty and full of feel and if you feel like it you can get involved in some back end action. You can just tell that there years of motorsport pedigree, (Trust me there are many many many years of Peugeot being involved in some kind of event.) has been working into the mix. I love them, I do get slated a lot for liking them, but then again, it's by people who drive Ford Escorts and VW Golf 4's....... consequently I run rings round them and disappear into the distance.

Just so you know guys, this motor is now for sale, I'll be advertising it here and a few other places.

I'll be sad to see it go but I had an offer I just couldn't refuse, Not going to reviel it just yet but I promise you....... It's awesome....

Well.... No it isn't lol....

Just so you know the car is no longer for sale (if someone wouldn't mind closing my for sale thread please thanks)

I'm keeping it cause I won't get any where near back what I've paid (not that I was expecting to break even) but I still have another car, I know 3 cars no one needs that....right?

You just wait and see what I have...... it's rather awesome..... I'll start a new thread for that, but for now I've got to update the 306 thread as I have some progress even if it is just a small update, I'll be filling that in tomorrow so I can get some more pictures in.
