My first track day

Today I am driving around this (Castle Combe).

I've already warned the wifelet that this might lead to me wanting to get my own Scooby on the track. We shall see

Wow that looks like heaps of fun! Tell us how you get on and take loads of photos, or rather get someone else too as you'll be too busy driving.

That's quite a nice mix of cars, I wonder which one you will favour the most.

Wow! What fun!
The Ferrari was broken so I swapped to a Corvette.
In order I drove:
Audi R8 V8;
GT 350;
Porsche 911 GTRS;
Skyline;
Corvette.
Plus a sighting lap, as passenger, in BMW M3 and a high speed passenger lap in WRX.
It was fun see what a slower Scooby can do! Talking to the driver he could get my car to go faster!
Theirs are race prepped but not heavily modified.
The GT 350 and Corvette were terrifying. 60's muscle with nothing to help. Just power (lots) and a brake pedal!
Enjoyed it, but would not drive them again.
I could feel the Corvette drifting around corners, thought I was going to stuff it into the wall

The Skyline was my favourite and I'm sure if I did few more laps (did 2 in each) I could get it moving around quicker.

It doesnt look it but I was terrified in the GT350
Annoyingly they didnt record the Corvette drive
