When you go around a classic car show and you see some of your first cars on exhibition you start to feel old!

Has anyone else had this experience? If only I'd kept some of my older cars, they would be worth a small fortune now. Cars that fetch a premium now but were regarded as junk back in my day when they got old include the MK1 Escort, the XR2 and XR3i, Ford Capri, MK1 Astra?

I wonder if I kept my A3 for 30 years if it would become collectible? Somehow I think not, but I remember thinking my original cars were worthless when I sold them, only for the values to spike up.

I dont think any of the cars I have owned are considered classics. Bar my current one :)

Obi over here the mk1 & 2 Eskies are very pricey
Datsun 1200 coupes,sedans,120y's and ute prices are also rising fast

Don't get me started @obi_waynne Lancia Thema V6, Porsche 944T, Nissan Sylvia S12 and R33 even my old 1983 Honda Prelude EX and Citroen AX GT is nearly gone from the streets and going up in value if you can find one. Can we have a TorqueCars communial storage facility to preserve our old Pride n Joys

My first car was a 1973 Beetle, a 1303s so I've always had a classic although it was only 18 years ago when I started!
