My daily driver

Bought this recently to replace the Vectra Elite estate as badly missed my series 2 TD5 Discovery. Needed an auto as my clutch leg was suffering in traffic due to cellulitus issues in both legs over the years.

So got a very happy place to be on the daily commute. No more leg cramps, bad back is now cosseted by the leather armchairs!

So it's a Discovery 3 HSE auto with just about every extra going as was owned by a Land Rover Jaguar Director, has heaps of history and bills to prove.

Perfect for my three Dalmatians and the 25' caravan.

Need to buy a ramp for the dogs as it's a bit high for the lazy buggers! :D

That's a sexy looking Behemoth Mick, the ramp is a good idea. I use to have to help my Rottweiler into the Beast as she got older, bless her! Even now I miss her terribly :(

Yes it does become a long list, I tried doing one and realised I missed a few! So here goes and in no particular order!:
  • Factory privacy glass.
  • Beige leather, all seven seats.
  • Electric front seats with 3 posn memory.
  • Heated seats inc 2nd row.
  • Climate control with independant 2nd row controls.
  • Front and rear parking sensors.
  • Adaptive headlights.
  • 6 speed auto box, sport and commandshift mode.
  • x3 sunroofs, rear section full glass.
  • Sat nav and 4x4 screen info.
  • Harman Kardon Logic 7 sound system, 6 disc player, aux input, bluetooth.
  • Voice recognition for head unit, radio, phone and sat nav.
  • Inbuilt phone system.
  • Steering wheels controls for everything.
  • Terrain response system.
  • Rosen head mounted DVD/games system, remote control, x2 cordless headphones and games controller.
  • Cruise control.
  • Powerfold dipping mirrors when reversing, so you can see the kerb and bay parking lines.
  • Fridge in the armrest cubby hole, takes x4 cans or bottles.
  • LR rubber mat set inc load area.
  • LR tow bar and twin electrics.
  • Door puddle lights.
  • Interior footwell lights.
  • Automatic headlights.
  • Rain sensing wipers.
  • Auto dip rear view mirror.

  • D4 chrome grill.
I think that is it..........

Good heavens, what no ejector seat? ;b/

Have you seen the luxury Haus Range Rover collection Mick? Saw one in London the other day and to say it had presence would be an understatement. It looked way better than the Overfinch version.

This is enough for now, just what I needed.

Oh yea it's got a heated front screen too.

Not seen the Haus version. I do believe their workshops are based in Farnham, not too far from where I work.

Getting into such beasts and they do have an impact for sure. If we get to have ideas and taking care of all that ways which are very reasonable would work for us.
Setting a budget and being able to afford a 4WD is awesome comparing to sedans.

Any updates for us Mick, been a long time :)
Sorry Os. Had to sell it sadly. Redundancy meant sacrifices had to be made. Was running an M-Sport 330i but now have a Vauxhall Antara. Not me but a sensible fill-in until such time I can get another quality car.
