As above I have a mk5 ford mondeo 2.0tdci 150hp 2016 I'm new to this but would like some cheap but affective ideas on how to turn this car into a beast and I have seen a lot about re mapping if anyone can point me in the right direction to which company gives best bang for buck?

A remap is a good value and significant upgrade. Ignore the peak power figures, the torque curve and how the power is delivered is more important than the peak power.
Find someone who specialises in the Ford engines, a lot of cheaper companies out there will sell a very generic remap that works ok but does not fully utilize your cars abilities. A rolling road map will be much better than a generic map if you can afford it.
Bluefin seem to have a good reputation in ford circles but I've not tried it out myself.
