MIL warning

My MIL has just come on and now limits me to 3000 RPM. I know it could be lots of things but it was working fine before. I was driving to work then suddenly the MIL shows up and limits my revs. Bit strange how it happened whilst driving along.

Any suggestions?

Does it need to be a Honda dealer to fix it or just any good garage?

Most garages with electronic diagnostics can diagnose and sort the problem. It could be an O2 sensor or some other sensor playing up. Are you using super unleaded or really cheap supermarket fuel. When was it last serviced?

Not been serviced for nearly a year, due soon :embarrest:

I just use any old petrol - its a work hack.

It might just need a good service then. Fingers crossed. Try some redex as well - it's made a difference on all of my higher mileage cars.
