do you no were i can get rocker box cover chromed had one quote and wanted £900 to get it done i no you can get cheaper then that just any ideas would be helpful

Didn't think you could as the part in question is cast aluminium alloy isn't it? Polishing it yes, but most tend to fit polished stainless steel covers.

Iv used chrome before on my freelander but got to costly but il try polished stainless steel

I have seen polished K series cam covers (& yes their cast ally) but I can't remember the guy who did them. Have you tried flea bay?

you could always polish it yourself if youve got time, get a spare to work on obviously.

start with low grit wet and dry and work up to 2000 grit then a felt mop on a drill
