hey every 1 i need help iv an 1.4 and wanna make it better
how can i start and dont say get a new car lol

That'll be the Honda based engine then I think. Don't do an induction kit - use a panel filter, sports exhaust, fast road cams.

Lower and uprate the suspension too as this will nake the car handle better.

PiperX and K&N do panel filters - they are a doddle to fit. Suspension wise you would need new springs and shocks. Track down Moto-Build racing as they are MG Rover specialists and will certainly have something suitable in stock. They used to be based in Hounslow.
