We Aussies are saddened to hear of the carnage wrought on innocent people going about their everyday business by someone with a depraved ideology/mindset.

I think it's fair to say we too are in shock. The terrorists will not win. We will not be afraid or cower and will continue to drink tea and carry on!

Attacks like these seem to bring people together, so the desired effect and aims of the terrorists is not happening.
