Does anyone know about the law reguarding how low cars can be?

I can't seem to find anything on the internet with the police seemingly more put-out by tinted windows and undercar lighting, but I have a wee red flag going up in the back of my head and a few stories by mates to back it up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The only thing I can think of is the EU regulations for what height your headlights/brake light etc need to be at.

Not aware of any really other than the lighting regs. mentioned above. Provided that the lower does not interfere with the operation of suspension, steering and brakes you can go as low as you like.

True, but as far as I know those regulations are relative to the dimensions of the car. If not then someone let me know.

Cheers

No, light height regulations are indepenent of vehicle make. Construction and Use Regs state dimension mins and max regadless of car make. This is why Lotus Elans and other cars with low fronts have pop-up headlights.
