Leak in brake system??

OK, Can anybody diagnose this problem. After bleeding the brakes (on a mk3 prelude) in the normal manner, air is some how getting into the system.

Engine off: pedal firms up as normal.

Engine on: pedal goes spoungy.

Sounds like a leaky servo to me.

If you hold steady pressure on the pedal does it slowly sink under your foot?

Check your rims and see if you are getting a pool of fluid anywhere. One of your calipers might have gotten a hole or if nothing else will help you localize the problem. Master cylinder might have gone as well. Double check that you tightened all you bleed nozzles as well. First break job I ever did, went through 4 bottles of brake fluid before figuring out that one wasn't tight.

if it has abs bleed the brakes with the igntion on so the abs pump can run and bleed out

Rubbers in the master cylinder imho. Anyway theres no hurry for that now, once my boss pays me I'm gonna try to buy it for myself & do it up.

Master cylinders rarely fail if fluid changes have been done every 2-3 years
