KKK K14 turbo

Let me start by saying this....



AAARRRGHHHHHH!!!

Most fiddly freakin turbo in the world! Managed to move one nut, but the outside one was so bloody tight.

I need some advice on getting that second nut undone. Jarrus, this may be for you.

I'll share a picture and hopefully you'll be able to see what I mean.

The one on the outside, is near an oil feed/ line and is near impossible to move your hand into position to rotate it. I guess I'll need to bring my engine forward, remove the inlet manifold and try it that way. Or just buy a T2....

Trust me that however difficult it is to get that turbo off my back turbo is far worse. Its almost easier to lift the engine out...............


But I dont suppose that helps much

Mine is easy to change, but I don't suppose that's much help either

hahaha. Cheers for the thoughts though!! I managed it and ended up taking the inside bolt off. Now boosts at around 20 psi!

Yours has an arm on it then?

If it has an arm like that then it's not a K14 mate, it's either a T2 or a GT15.....

Found out its a K03. I think..... But its all alright now. Removed the inside nut and it boosts to around 18 - 20 psi. its awesome. Still a little smokey though.
