k n typhoon kit

found a brand new k n typhoon induction kit that came of a 05 type r. Very cheap price. Just wanted to know if it will fit my civic 1.6 i vtec sport and what extra mods I would need?thanks. Also can a cold air feed be pumped into this?

No it won't. AFAIK the parts designed for the K series engines don't fit the D series engines.

But when an air intake is fitted you will need to fit the cone as far away from the engine as possible and use a heat shield. This will prevent heat soak, meaning it will prevent you losing power.
