I entered my Starions details 1260 KG & 430 fw hp (387 at the tyres) and it came up with
0-60mph 4.0 secs
0-100 " 8.5 "
60-100 4.5 "
1/4 ET 12.5 " @122 mph

So I guess the old girl can hold her own with some of the current cars:)

Don't know if my allowance for drive train losses is correct as there seems to be a few opinions on the best % to allow for a RWD car ?-/

Only problem with the torquestats calculator is it just deducts your 0-60 from the 0-100 to get the 60-100.

So for me (old 9000 haven't tried this one!)

0-60 in 5.0
0-100 in 10.1
And gave me 60-100 in 4.9 when a true 60-100 pull in 3rd was 3.8/3.9s so it's a second off there :)

Still fun checking up different cars stats though :)

that is absolutely correct and always will be .

if I remember right your figures are from a phone ap and they are not certainly not accurate everytime.
But if you used your aps 0-100 and 0-60 it would give you the aps 60-100 using its data. If you use data from different sources they wont add up right

I put the stageas current stats in and got 0-60 - 3.6 seconds . 0-100 - 7.6 seconds and a quarter in 11.33 with a terminal of 130.

Guess I will eventually take it down the 1/4 to see if I can get close to a 12.5 .

My drag racing mate/engine builder says there is an 11 in it BUT not with me driving:eek:

No phone app mate, just camera, gps & stopwatch :)

I've seen something similar to this a few years ago. It's surprisingly good really. Obviously not as accurate as a stopwatch but the ballpark figures are reasonable. Plus it's free. Not fuel need be burned. Nor clutch plates or tyres :)

It is only a calculator and will give a rough Idea of terminal speed and time but there is so much that can vary in this. E.G. gearbox ratios even wheel diameter and rolling resistance. it says I should do 11.8s and 128mph but as yet I've not achieved anywhere near that. There's only one real way to find out and that's to blast it down the strip and see. :)

Yes, agreed. You happened to dial in a bit more detail than I did. It's really only a bit of fun and works well for that purpose ie. a bit of fun for looking at ballpark figures.

Power to Weight: 176 bhp/ton
0-60: 6.3
0-100: 15.1
60-100: 8.8
1/4 Mile ET: 14.52
1/4 Mile Terminal: 97
Dragstrip 1/4 Mile ET: 14.32
Dragstrip 1/4 Mile Terminal: 101

I can't get a good 0-60 though, no place to do it around here so I can't compare my own crappy time to this. But what I have seen of other people's times with my car this looks about right. I also suspect the scales where I got my car weighed so that may be off. they were scales at a recycling facility.
