Hi I have lost power and the car is coming up with an engine managment light on and the on board computer is saying pollution fault. can some one please explain my problem Many Thanks Dave

Possibly sounds like the ECU has just detected a blockage of quality air through your pollen filter, just replace and have the check light reset. Also check the o2 sensor readings as well just in case.

Yeah new diesels do have o2 sensors, common rail ones do..
