I am a young and rather inexperienced enthusiast but modify cars as a hobby and am in basic college classes for automotive. As cliche as it seems I would love the opportunity to tune cars for performance whether that be aftermarket add on or computer software. I am at a critical point where both are doable but I need some help getting started and knowing where to take the first step. Thanks for any insight.

Hello and a very warm, welcome to TorqueCars from me the admin!

So sorry for my very slow reply, I've been moving this site to a new server and tweaking it for better performance pretty much non stop for the last 30 days. Hopefully we are there now, with a much faster more efficient site and server.

I'm sure you'll fit in just fine and look forward to Talking Cars with you.

Hello and welcome Zeke |B

Modern cars and their engines are all controlled in some way by electronic systems and tuning them is done by computers and some aftermarket EMS makers have run classes on how they work and the best way to use their EMS to gain improved performance without damaging the engine.

You should contact any or all of them to find out if and when any will be running classes or seminars.
