I hate driving in rain

One of my pet hates is driving in heavy rain and high winds.

The other night I was running through sudden pockets of standing water to a depth of 6 inches! Every now and then there was a tree, branch or other obstruction across the road.

Looking up shows many more trees about to come down or broken branches. It's like a war zone down here.

How are the roads where you are?

My hate for the rain comes from the fact it always seems to start the day after I have washed and polished the car :sad2:


Other negatives includes the causing of built up traffic due to peoples inability to cope with a bit of water on the road, and the increased vulnerability of our 2 wheeled road companions.

The rain is not too bad its the high winds that are the pain I find.
Just drive to the conditions as usual.

Don't mind the rain just drive to the conditions it's the Wallys that seem to have little regard for the conditions that tailgate or slow down far more than needed and stay in the "fast"lane that concern/worry me at times as random frustrated drivers behind them are prone to suddenly change lanes with little warning if any.
