I see so many vehicles with faulty lights and apparently the drivers seem blissfully unaware that they are driving "an unroadworthy vehicle" in the eyes of the law and they can and should be checked at least weekly to ensure all is well and not rely on the service centre to rectify any blown bulbs as the servicing periods for modern cars are something like 6 months or 15,000 klm's.
IF you are parked in an enclosed garage simply turn on the ignition and see if all the lights, hi & lo beams,brake,park,& indicators reflect/flash on the wall in front and the door behind.
If you don't have a garage then you may need a helper to check wile you operate them.
