Take a rough estimate of your annual mileage, multiply that by the number of years you've been driving and what total do you get?

Mine is 162000! 6000 miles per year with 12,000 in the last few years! I think I'll round up to 200,000 as that seems more accurate.

Stamford, the milky way takes just 1 hour to rotate that same distance! I bet you took longer than 1 hour to rack this mileage up!

Those miles don't include the years of laps completed, the miles driven abroad and all the traveling to car shows. However just over 32 years to help rack them miles up.

Used to average app 2000 miles a month when I was single and now app 2500 Klm a month now I have slowed down so must have given the 1,000,000 a good nudge by now

In my 52 total years of drive time, I have 1,200,000 miles for 10 years as a Owner/Operator with my trucking business. Then 11 years as a LEO/Deputy Sheriff for approx. 600 miles every 6 days (per shift week) or simply 20,000 plus-plus miles annually. Add another approx. 4,000 miles from age 12 to 16 driving farm vehicles. And approx. 510,000 miles for the other 34 years of being a Gear Head yet at 64 years old! Now 2 Million miles is approaching fast! So IF I can make it another 10 years??? Hopefully add another 150,000 miles of drive time to round out my time here would be Wonderful. I have always loved driving!!!

I started my records on 30/10/1963 since then up to 19/12/2014 I have covered 751932 in 51years & 2 months that's about 14750 for each year. Cost £83273 mind you in 1963 fuel was 4s 2d a gallon or 4.7p a litre in youngsters money.

drove a delivery van for 14 at approx 750 a week then another 15 - 20000 per year for 38 years i would guess some where around 1.5 million to many to think about
