How do I remove a 94 F150 governor

OK i have been trying to figure this out for the longest time but no one on any other forums could figure it out. So now i need to ask all of ya'll. How do i disable the Governor on my 94 f150. I have heard many different ways but none of them are correct. My trucks speed is restricted to only 85. I would like to figure this out so i don't have to worry about the speed at the drag strip.

I think you would need an ecu remap to remove this limit. You might bypass it by removing the speed sensor but that would be a real hassle and strickly for off road use only.

Hi if you find someone that can remap your ecu then they should be able to take the speed limiter off, either with or without remapping...
