Hottest day of the year so far

Apparently today will be the hottest day of the year so far. We've already hit 9o.

Time to get out and enjoy our cars a bit more. I might even treat my car to a full valet today.

MY PREDICTION FOR THIS SUMMER!

This year is going to be the hottest on record. The roads will melt, crops will die and we will have a hosepipe ban!

We will still moan about the weather.

Having only had my car from new in November, today was a welcome chance to prove that the refrigeration side of my climate control works! It does.

Up to now, even with it set to LO, I'm never quite sure whether it's been blowing in outside air fast, or actually cooling it.

By the way, I remember the 4 months without rain in the summer of 1976 - as soon as the government appointed a Minister For Drought, it chucked it down like nobody's business and they added Flood to his portfolio!
